“In addition, it is a good move since it can help to ease the burden of staff especially during the school session by donating school supplies to children in need. This initiative is one of the university's efforts to aid UMP staff by establishing a Staff Welfare Fund under the UMP Foundation,” he added.

"The involvement of various parties to contribute through the UMP Foundation fund is able to preserve and sustain the sadaqah jariyah ecosystem, especially for the benefit of UMP residents and the community in general," he elaborates further.
