Kuantan, 29 November- Naib Canselor Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) berhasrat melihat bahawa kepimpinan Majlis Perwakilan pelajar (MPP) Sesi 2018/2019 memainkan peranan yang besar dalam meluaskan worldview mahasiswa UMP supaya lebih cakna dan bertanggungjawab dalam soal pengurusan diri dan hal-ehwal mereka selepas ini.

UMP rai pengamal media Pahang

Kuantan, 26 November- Program Sepetang Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Bersama Media memberi peluang pihak pengurusan universiti dan pengamal media meluangkan masa dan mengeratkan lagi hubungan baik serta menghargai komitmen media terutamanya dalam membuat liputan program-program universiti.

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) alumnus Heziwan Hamsah, 32, did not at all fancy being an engineer when he was small but eventually, the profession became his livelihood because of his deep concern over the environment.

Terokai Dunia Kejuruteraan Bersama UMP  

Pekan, 23 November – Penganjuran UMP Engineering’s Day anjuran kelab pelajar Fakulti Kejuruteraan Mekanikal (FKM), iaitu Mechanical Engineering Professional Student Club (MECHAPRO) memberi peluang pelajar sekolah meneroka pelbagai bidang kejuruteraan yang sesuai dengan minat dan prospek kerjaya mereka pada masa akan datang.

Program Chem E Car hasil pelajar sekolah berdaya cipta

Kuantan, 22 November- Seramai 60 pelajar tahun empat, lima dan enam Sekolah Kebangsaan  (SK) Bunut Rendang menyertai program Chem E Car anjuran Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik dan Elektronik (FKEE), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) baru-baru ini yang diadakan di sekolah berkenaan.

Menurut pengarah program, Prof. Madya. Ts. Dr. Hamzah Ahmad berkata, program kolabarasi bersama pihak sekolah ini berjaya memberi pendedahan awal dan menyuntik semangat pelajar sekolah dalam mata pelajaran Sains dan Matematik. 

Positive and focus are the keys to success - Yong Shi Yun, Recipient of Srikandi Matahari Award

Being positive and focused were the keys to success, said Yong Shi Yun, 24, who received the Srikandi Matahari Award at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) 13th Convocation Ceremony held at its Gambang Campus Sports Complex on November 10 and 11, 2018.

Shi Yun obtained her B.Eng. (Hons.) Electrical Engineering (Electronics) and is now an engineer at Intel Corporation.

Daughter to Yong Siew Kee, 57, and Chan Yoke Fong, 54, Shi Yun said she had set a goal to do well in her studies and was happy to be able to achieve it by scoring a CGPA of 3.85.
