Suara UMP - Library collaboration in dissemination of knowledge

Pekan, 14 October 2020 – The collaboration between SUARA UMP and UMP Library has become the catalyst in disseminating knowledge in an effort to cultivate the reading attitude in the community.
According to UMP Chief Librarian, Azman Abdul Rahim, UMP Library itself will not be able to provide reading materials such as books, newspapers, magazines and others, to cater to the public need for knowledge, without the supplies from publishing centre. 
The collaboration between this two parties can be regard as a perfect symbiosis to the advantage of both.
“Through publication, knowledge can be spread whereas Library is a place where knowledge can be obtained,” he added. 
Azman was quoted saying that after officiating the Second Series of SUARA UMP Inspirational Event held at Library Executive Lounge, UMP Pekan Campus recently.
Therefore, he added, the close ties between these two parties should be continued to ensure the sustainability of knowledge in the future. 
Meanwhile, four Malay language books were launched in this event, namely Isu-isu Pembelajaran dan Pengajaran Bahasa, Komunikasi dan Sastera, Kejayaan Dalam Keusahawanan, Kokurikulum dan Pembangunan Holistik and Glosari Bergambar Tempaan Logam.
