Discovery of new knowledge in impactful journal writing

KUANTAN, 21 July 2022 – “When we do our research, we can deepen the knowledge further and indirectly, it will facilitate teaching and learning sessions.

“Then the discovery of new knowledge is translated into journal writing to share the research and technology with all,” said the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Professor Ts. Dr. Kamal Zuhairi Zamli who won the Cendekia Bitara Award and the Journal Publication Sanjungan Award in the recent Cendekia Bitara Award Ceremony.

Dr. Nurul Azyyati dan Mohd Safeirul dinobatkan pemenang AAU

KUANTAN, 21 Julai 2022 - Dr. Nurul Azyyati Sabri dan Mohd Safeirul Zaman Abd Majid dinobatkan pemenang Anugerah Akademik Universiti (AAU) 2021 dalam majlis Anugerah Cendekia Bitara 21 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) yang telah diadakan di Hotel Zenith Kuantan baru-baru ini.
 
Dr. Nurul Azyyati Sabri yang merupakan Pensyarah dan Ketua Program (Diploma Sains Industri) Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi Industri (FSTI) berkata, beliau tidak menyangka terpilih untuk menerima anugerah ini bagi kategori Sains Gunaan.
 

UMP progresses industry collaboration to explore high-impact technology

KUANTAN, 21 July 2022 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) is realigning the empowerment of research, industrial innovation and commercialisation to enhance more dynamic and proactive research capabilities and capacities.

It was implemented through the governance of grants and funding offerings and high-impact new grants with specific objectives to generate new ideas, focus on the country’s current strategic issues, face challenges and adapt Digital Transformation through the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Penyelidik UMP, UUM dan UiTM kaji pengurusan pekerja asing di Malaysia  

KUANTAN, 13 Julai 2022 - Sekumpulan penyelidik gabungan tiga buah Universiti Awam (UA) iaitu Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) dan Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) telah diberi kepercayaan oleh Institut Keselamatan Awam Malaysia (IPSOM) dalam membantu dalam menjalankan kajian Pewujudan Entiti Khusus bagi Pengurusan Kemasukan, Pengeluaran dan Penamatan Pas Lawatan Kerja Sementara (PLKS)  pekerja asing.

ChM Dr. Nurlin produces SORAS to remove arsenic in contaminated water

PEKAN, 5 July 2022 – Water pollution especially from landfills often contains toxic and carcinogenic substances that are harmful to health in the long run.

Looking at this problem, a lecturer from the Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FSTI), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), ChM Dr. Nurlin Abu Samah, 38, came out with a product capable of making an impact in removing arsenic in contaminated water.

A product named SORAS is an adsorbent used to remove arsenic in contaminated water.
