What can we do in light of the Global Risks Report 2022’s ranking of the world’s greatest threats?

Risk analysis aids in the framing of decisions, predictions, and the identification of policy gaps that must be addressed. That is why, every January, the World Economic Forum releases the Global Risks Report, which sets the tone for the year.

In its 17th edition, the report pushes executives to go beyond the quarterly reporting cycle and develop policies that ‘link risk to strategy.’

In 2020, the previously speculative possibility of a pandemic became a reality.

UMP CSR project Lighting Up the Community is expanded to help the community

BATU PAHAT, 19 January 2022 - UMP’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project Lighting Up the Community this time witnessed the installation of a solar powered spotlight system for community facilities here by adding lighting at wakaf and vehicle parking at Masjid Pekan Sri Medan and student houses in Kampung Parit Singgahan Dalam in Batu Pahat, Johor. 

Prof. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie appointed 5th UMP Vice-Chancellor

PEKAN, 1 March 2022 - The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni), Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, 60, was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) effective 1 March 2022.

Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) before continuing his study in Commerce at the University of Wollongong, Australia in 1992.

Prof. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie dilantik Naib Canselor UMP ke-5

PEKAN, 1 Mac 2022 - Timbalan Naib Canselor (Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Alumni), Profesor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, 60, dilantik sebagai Naib Canselor Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) berkuat kuasa 1 Mac 2022.

Profesor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie berkelulusan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains Sosial dari Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) sebelum menyambung pengajian dalam bidang Perdagangan di University of Wollongong, Australia pada tahun 1992.
