GAMBANG, 22 October 2023 - Insinuations that she will not succeed have become the spark for Nur Layli Wirman, 25, the daughter of a former tailor, Wirman Tengku Munaf, 61 and restaurateur, Afni Zakaria, 58, to prove people’s perception of her family is completely wrong.

Friendly addressed as Layli, she proved that she was able to obtain the Dean’s List Award five times during her study.

In addition, she won the Ir. Kee Book Hee Excellence Award.

GAMBANG, 21 October 2023 - Ever since she was a kid, her family has always moved around due to the demands of her mother’s job as a teacher in Tawau, Sabah.

Her father gave up his job so that their family stays together.

These events had encouraged Aimi Soleha Baba, 25 to study hard and succeed.

The Sabah-born received the Srikandi Matahari Award at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah's (UMPSA) 18th Convocation Ceremony.

GAMBANG, 21 October 2023 - The son of a retired government couple, Danial Mamat, 61 and Nor@Roshayati Hasan, 61 did not expect to receive the Heitech Excellence Award at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) 18th Convocation Ceremony today.

Dhiyaurrahman Danial, a Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering) graduate from the Faculty of Computing expressed his gratitude for the award.

GAMBANG, 22 October 2023 – ‘Tuah ayam nampak di kaki, tuah manusia siapa yang tahu’, such was what was experienced by Dungun-born Yunalis Amani Abd Rashid, 24 when she was selected to receive the Professor Dato’ Dr. Mashitah Mohd Yusof Award.

Graduating with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.71, Yunalis anticipated that she would only receive a faculty award.

GAMBANG 21 October 2023 – “I can’t believe I was able to attend Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah’s (UMPSA) 18th Convocation Ceremony today, seeing that I was involved in a road accident that resulted in my car being totalled on 3 September.”
