Briged Siswa 4P Gotong-Royong Bersihkan Pantai Leleh

Pekan, 15 April – Pengalaman berehat di tepi pantai yang dicemari bekas pembungkus makanan, pinggan dan mangkuk polistirena, cawan dan botol plastik dan lain-lain pastinya menggamit suasana yang tidak menyenangkan.

Melihat keindahan pantai yang dirosakkan oleh sikap masyarakat yang kurang peka terhadap kesan sampah kepada alam memberi kesedaran buat mahasiswa Briged Siswa 4P, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) yang mengadakan program "Beach Clean Up" yang bertempat di Pantai Air Leleh, Pekan, Pahang baru-baru ini.

700 mahasiswa UMP terima makanan sihat secara percuma

Kuantan, 15 April– Sebanyak 700 bungkus makanan sihat yang mengandungi sandwich, minuman dan buah epal diagihkan kepada mahasiswa Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) sebagai menyokong amalan gaya hidup sihat anjuran Jabatan Hal Ehwal Pelajar & Alumni (JHEPA) dengan kerjasama Institusi Kefeloan UMP (IKUMP) dalam Program CSR : We Love We Share: Take a Break with Healthy Food baru-baru ini.

UMP Food Pantry jadi tumpuan mahasiswa dapatkan makanan percuma

Kuantan, 16 April- Selaras dengan hasrat Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDNHEP) bagi melaksanakan  program Foodbank Malaysia ke kampus universiti awam, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) telah mengorak langkah dengan melaksanakan UMP Campus  Pantry  bagi menyalurkan bantuan kepada mahasiswa yang memerlukan makanan, minuman dan keperluan lain.

52 pasukan bola baling berentap dalam kejohanan anjuran UMP

Kuantan, 14 April – Memasuki edisi keempat penganjuran 4th UMP Handball East Coast Championship dilihat dapat mengukuhkan lagi kegemilangan dan kecemerlangan penganjuran kejohanan sejak ianya diadakan pada 2016. Edisi 2019 telah dianjurkan oleh Kelab Bola Baling UMP dan Pusat Sukan UMP dengan kerjasama Jabatan Hal Ehwal Pelajar & Alumni (JHEPA).

‘Gotong Royong’ by UMP students to clean up Batu Hitam beach

A total of 40 volunteers comprising Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students from the Siswa Brigade Section 19G took part in a programme called, ‘Stay Clean With UMP’ which involved cleaning up the popular beach of Batu Hitam in Beserah here on March 30, 2019.
The programme, aimed at highlighting the importance of protecting the environment, was jointly organised by the Centre of Co-Curriculum, Department of Student Affairs and Kuantan Municipal Council. 

Closer ties between Malaysia-Bosnia following MoU signed by UMP and MBTCA

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia Bosnia Trade Cooperation Association (MBTCA) that would pave the way for collaborations in the fields of engineering and technology with universities in Bosnia.

The MoU was signed on April 5, 2019, involving programmes such as Bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering, mechatronic, civil engineering, manufacturing, computer, electrical, chemical and science as well as possible joint research works.

PIMPIN organised a workshop on Al-Quran reading using sign language and braille

Concerned over the plight of people with disabilities (OKU), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP)’s Islamic Centre and Human Development (PIMPIN) organised a special workshop for the public including for the disabled especially those with hearing and sight impairment on March 26, 2019.
The participants learned about Al-Quran reading in sign language and braille in the workshop which was organised in conjunction with the Mahabbah Carnival 9.0.

PPTI colloquium focused on professional management of the future

Some 100 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) administrators attended the Administrator Transformation Colloquium titled, ‘Professional Managers of the Future’ that was organised by the Association of Administrative and Professional Officers (PPTI), together with the Registrar Office.

It was held at the Banquet Hall, Tun Abdul Razak Chancellery, UMP Pekan Campus on March 27, 2019.
