KUALA LUMPUR, 18 November 2021 - Satu memorandum persefahaman (MoU) kerjasama strategik dimeterai antara Institut Penyelidikan Pembangunan Belia Malaysia (IYRES) dengan Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) yang berlangsung di Dewan Podium, Menara Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, Putrajaya hari ini. 
 
Kerjasama ini dapat memberi faedah kepada kedua-dua pihak dalam menghasilkan output berpacukan sains data yang boleh dimanfaatkan oleh kesemua pemegang taruh khususnya dalam aspek pembangunan belia di negara ini.

1,528 new students are now part of UMP family

KUANTAN, 8 October 2021 - A total of 1,528 new students who registered to study at the bachelor’s degree level at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) for the 2021/2022 academic session are now a part of the large UMP family.

The UMP’s large family consists of university board members, management, lecturers, field experts, researchers, administrators, students and alumni.

UMP, TERAJU enhance bumiputera development sustainability in agricultural projects

KUANTAN, 23 October 2021 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and Bumiputera Agenda Steering Unit (TERAJU) signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) which will open up opportunities for small- and medium-enterprise entrepreneurs (B40 group) to produce agricultural products (chilli and eggplant) for local market through the Bumiputera Entrepreneur Development Fund Programme (DPUB).

DPUB is a combination of the internet of things (IoT) system and fertigation to facilitate the B40 group.

UMP Gambang Campus closes temporarily from 13 to 26 November

PAYA BESAR, 13 November 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has temporarily closed all its operations at UMP Gambang Campus to curb the spread of COVID-19, especially on the campus from 13 to 26 November 2021.

Following this announcement, all university staff at UMP Gambang Campus must work from home (WFH). This does not include the frontliners (health and non-health workers who manage COVID-19 containment and control) such as health, safety, enforcement, student affairs and campus maintenance.

8 UMP research products won medals in MTE 2021

PEKAN, 29 October 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) continues to shine when eight research products won medals in the online Malaysian Technology Expo or MTE 2021: Sustainable Development Goals International Innovation Award (SDGIIA) recently.

UMP bagged four gold, two silver and two bronze medals at this event.

Physio-Treadmill (Phymill) for Cerebral Palsy Kids research by Ts. Dr. Mohd Azrul, not only won a gold medal but also received the Outstanding Innovation Award.
