KUANTAN, 23 October 2021 - UMP Holdings Group has introduced a new, more modern logo in order to become a university company that continues to thrive in business and remain competitive in the Malaysian market and later penetrate the world market.

The company’s corporate identity in the UMP Holdings Group saw a more modern introduction, thus symbolising the organisation’s image as far-sighted and more progressive.

UMP prioritises safety, student welfare as students return to campus

KUANTAN, 7 October 2021 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) will always ensure that the safety and welfare of students are a priority especially as students return to campus in stages, which will begin on 15 October.

According to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, who acts as the Vice-Chancellor, during this pandemic period, safety and health aspects have been a priority based on the standard operating procedures (SOP) outlined.

RIMAU Virtual Challenge 2021 raises funds of RM28,036 for the development of Mawaddah Residential College UMP

PEKAN, 11 October 2021 – RIMAU Virtual Challenge 2021 organised by Yayasan UMP managed to raise funds amounting to RM28,036 for the development of Mawaddah Residential College in Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) campus in Pekan.

This virtual challenge is one of the initiatives by Yayasan UMP to raise funds for each trust and endowment in an effort to help students and those in need.

Mental Health Awareness Programme curbs stress problems

KUANTAN, 15 October 2021 - In conjunction with the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) 2021 Counselling Month Celebration, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) in collaboration with the Counselling and Psychology Division, Department of Student Affairs (JHEP) recently organised the Suicide Prevention Programme: No Way Out.

The programme aims to ensure that people from all walks of life, regardless of age, can prevent suicidal behaviour and have the appropriate knowledge in seeking help from certain parties.

3 twin pairs share joy selected to enter UMP

PEKAN, 9 October 2021 – Three twin pairs shared their joy after being selected to continue their studies during the registration of new students for the 2021/2022 Academic Session at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). 

The presence of the twins stole the spotlight during Student Induction Week (MINDS) which was held online via UMPMalaysia’s Facebook recently.
