Ustaz Ebit Lew shares the secret to success with UMP residents

PEKAN, 3 May 2021 – “Our lives will be more meaningful by bringing happiness and joy to others.
“Be a person who is good, sincere, hardworking, never gives up and patient, insya-Allah one day you will surely succeed,” said Ustaz Ebit Lew during the UMP Professional Talk Series titled ‘Community Development Through Social Entrepreneurship’ that was broadcasted live online via Facebook recently.
He said we need to remember that every hardship and pressure in life is a huge lesson that will drive us to become bolder and not give up until we succeed.
“My life-long ambition is to succeed in life so that I can bring happiness to both of my parents.
“I came from a less fortunate family. Therefore it’s the hardship that brings success today.
“Among some tips for success that we can practice are being confident in what we do and ensuring that we are always honest in anything we do.
“Besides that, we cannot depend too much on humans. So be sure that with prayer, Allah SWT will surely help us,” he said.
He is sure that if every wealthy person is willing to share and help those in need, there would not be poor people and neglected children who do not go to school.
“We must remember that the struggle for success is to bring a smile to our parents’ faces.
“Also, do not forget to have the right intent to bring other people happiness and benefit them.
“In fact, in everything we do, do not be selfish because the real definition of wealth is to bring happiness to other people. So the right intent will make our lives very meaningful,” he said.
So he said if we want to make other people happy, we should start with bringing happiness to those closest to us.
He also shared his experiences as a child when he could not afford to pay his school fees, a contributor appeared to pay it for him.
Starting from then, he was determined to one day rise up to help those with a similar fate.
“Alhamdulillah, many people now have received the benefit whether in the country or abroad,” he said.
At the same time, he has helped more than 70 children in Kuantan pay for their fees and school supplies.
He also encouraged UMP students to venture into business; however, if they want to start a business, start from the bottom because the experience will bring maturity in doing business.
“Another more important thing, do not harbour envy. It does not justify the means of success.
“The main key is to always put in the work and be creative to be the best in what you do.
“It is a fact of life, sometimes there will be trials and tribulations. As Muslims, there are two situations, whether we take it with an open heart or take misfortune with anger,” he said, who is now having 23 branches of Ebit Lew Mart in the span of a year.
However, he said, “Remember that everything that happens is because God loves us, and He wants us to become stronger and to take it as a sweet life experience.
