Yayasan UMP Smart Project helps 120 school students

PEKAN, 21 March 2023 - The Yayasan UMP Smart Project involving 120 Year 6 students from 10 schools around Pekan would improve their ability to gain better understanding, experience and knowledge in instilling interest in learning.

The programme, officiated by Yayasan UMP Board of Trustees Member, Datin Sharmila Shaheen, received the collaboration of the Pekan District Education Office (PPD) and the headmasters of the schools.

According to Datin Sharmila, the Yayasan UMP Smart Project programme aimed to improve the level of learning through active interaction between school students and 45 UMP students consisting of facilitators from the Yayasan UMP squad and volunteers.

“This programme is also one of the appropriate mediums for students to help the community and take advantage of life on campus.

“These opportunities must be grabbed by all, both UMP students and school students.

“In addition, it is a platform to share ideas, experiences, innovations and creativity in improving the level of student education,” she said at the Launch Ceremony of the 2023 Yayasan UM Smart Project at the Library Auditorium Hall, UMP Pekan.
