KUANTAN, 8 March 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recently organised a Singgah Sahur programme involving off-campus student rental houses and several government agencies around Kuantan.
A total of ten vehicles along with about 30 UMP KILAU volunteers convoyed to selected destinations to distribute 200 packets of sahur meals, from 10:30 pm until 1:30 am.
KUANTAN, 8 March 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) continues to maintain its tradition during Ramadan by providing free iftar meals using the trays to its residents who break their fast at the UMP Mosque, Gambang and Pekan Campuses for more than ten years.
It will surely spur the nostalgia of dining using trays for those who have ever studied at this university.
LIPIS, 9 April 2023 – The Cucumber Fertigation Project undertaken by the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) and UMP Advanced with Orang Asli of Kampung Pantos has achieved the goal of strengthening the socioeconomy of Orang Asli through encouraging outcomes.
The survey was held during a visit to the Cucumber Fertigation Project site by UMP Advanced and ECERDC, Petronas Foundation and MyKasih.
KUANTAN, April 13, 2023 - A total of 150 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) staff and students participated in the Khatam al-Quran and World #QuranHour Ceremony in a programme that took place at the UMP Mosque, Gambang Campus.
The programme, which began at 8:30 am, was preceded by the Khatam al-Quran event led by UMP Islamic Affairs Officer Ustaz Md Abdu Sahak, who is also the Chairman of Rumah Ngaji Pahang.
PEKAN, 21 March 2023 - A total of 149 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) staff received the Excellent Service Award (APC) and awards in various fields in conjunction with the recent UMP 2023 Quality and Innovation Day Ceremony.
The event was held as a token of appreciation and recognition to UMP associates for proving an excellent level of achievement through acculturation of quality and innovation as the main driving force towards the organisation’s excellence.

Pahang State Assembly Speaker, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Haji Mohd Sharkar Haji Shamsudin in his speech advised the Members of the Student Parliament, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) to be open on something to be the best leader.
However, he said if one disagrees on a matter, the leader should handle it with an open and patient attitude.
