UMPSA bersinar di MTE 2024, raih anugerah khas, 2 emas, 5 perak dan 1 gangsa

KUALA LUMPUR, 24 Februari 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) terus bersinar apabila para penyelidiknya berjaya meraih Anugerah Khas, dua pingat emas, lima perak dan satu gangsa dalam Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2024. 

MTE 2024 yang berlangsung selama tiga hari mulai 22 hingga 24 Februari di World Trade Centre (WTC), Kuala Lumpur itu bertujuan untuk menyatukan syarikat, usahawan, pelabur, dan inovator untuk mempamerkan dan meneroka trend dan penyelesaian teknologi terkini. 

Ts. ChM Dr. Ahmad Zamani invents DECO2X, a catalyst to convert carbon dioxide into methane

GAMBANG, 19 December 2023 - Energy-to-product technology (Power to X) is the best technology that uses renewable energy sources such as solar or wind energy to convert carbon dioxide combined with hydrogen into other products such as methane, methanol and others.

This technology can solve the problem of carbon dioxide emission into the environment in line with the net zero carbon policy by 2050.

PEKAN, 26 Disember 2023 – Kesukaran menganalisis data paras air yang merupakan data penting bagi mengenal pasti kawasan banjir mencetuskan idea kepada seorang penyelidik dan pensyarah Fakulti Teknologi Kejuruteraan Awam (FTKA), Ts. Dr. Nurul Nadrah Aqilah Tukimat, 38 untuk menghasilkan WALES Simulator, perisian yang dapat meramal paras air sungai berdasarkan pemboleh ubah meteorologi seperti hujan dan sejatan. 

Ts. Dr. Wan Isni Sofiah develops mobile application to streamline fire extinguisher maintenance

PEKAN, 11 December 2023 – While fire extinguishers are well-maintained, the absence of digitized records poses challenges for fire safety contractors in efficiently storing and accessing records. This challenge inspired Ts. Dr. Wan Isni Sofiah Wan Din, a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Computing (FK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), to create a Fire Extinguisher Management System (FEMS) mobile application.

Dr. Mohd Azraai helps farmers improve accuracy in watering and plant growth systems

PEKAN, 20 November 2023 – Researcher and lecturer of the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) was determined to study the cause of his failure to produce quality crops and consistent results by creating Agronetics or Automated Internet of Things (IoT) Fertigation System which is used to improve accuracy in watering and crop growth systems.

This research was conducted at iMAMS Laboratory, FTKPM.
