This prestigious programme aims to hone and strengthen their interpersonal and leadership skills at a higher level.

In addition, this programme also aims to train and produce a generation of qualified and competent young leaders in various industrial fields.

This professional development programme also provides opportunities for university graduates to gain real work experience.

They will serve under the guidance of mentors consisting of the University’s Top Management including the Chairman of the University Board of Directors, Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Registrar, Treasurer and Director of the Centre for Property Management & Development.

According to the UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. “Proteges also have the opportunity to expand their professional network, gain valuable work experience and develop the skills needed to be a leader in the future.

“This programme also focuses on developing technical skills in related fields and emphasises the importance of soft skills development,” he said.

In addition, the protege will also be exposed to communication skills, leadership, time management, group collaboration and problem solving.

This aims to produce resilient individuals who can adapt and be more competitive and willing to take on a more challenging work environment.

The Protege 2.0 programme offers opportunities to more participants and is structured into two parts, the UMPSA Perdana and Corporate Fellowship Programmes.

For the first time, the UMPSA Corporate Fellowship Programme is introduced to expand the network and enable participants to learn the management and administration sectors in various industrial sectors.
