UMPSA appreciates and remembers pensioner services
PEKAN, 18 December 2023 - Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin presented a certificate of appreciation and retirement to Senior Manager, Management Services Division, Hajah Sabarehan Haji Ismail.
He also presented a certificate of appreciation and retirement to Siti Murzalina Sh Murad, the spouse of the late Mustafa Kamal Daud.
Mustafa Kamal Daud passed away on 3 September 2023.
Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie thanked the staff members for their contributions and services to the university.
“This will surely be a turning point with the hope that our staff members will emulate these attitudes in carrying out their daily tasks.
“All their contributions and support in making a name for UMPSA and all their deeds and efforts will certainly be honoured and remembered forever,” he said.
He expressed his appreciation, recognition and gratitude to all retirees for their many services, deeds and efforts during their tenure with the university.
With the skills, expertise and experience gained while serving in the university, these people can be emulated as models to continue actively contributing to the field, especially to the community.
Also present were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Professor Ts. Dr. Kamal Zuhairi Zamli, Chief Operating Officer/Registrar of UMPSA, Dato’ Saiful Bahri Ahmad Bakarim and Senior Manager of the Registrar Department, Haji Abdul Shukur Ishak.
Meanwhile, Hajah Sabarehan was grateful to be given good health until retirement and to be able to carry out the responsibilities given.
“Thank you to the management and all UMPSA residents throughout my service of almost 20 years.
“During that time I have served in the Service Unit, Training Unit and Management Services Division and I have made many bittersweet memories.
“I will cherish these good memories for the rest of my life,” she said, having served for 19 years at UMPSA.
