Assistant Engineer receives Lifelong Learning Professional Award for Part-Time Programme

KUANTAN, 17 March 2022 – Adhering to the principle of ‘always thinking positively despite various tests’, Kuala Terengganu-born Roszitaida Adzemin, 37, is now able to smile brightly when selected as the recipient of the Lifelong Learning Professional Award – Part-Time Programme at the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) 15th Convocation Ceremony, which took place at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Kuantan.

University as a place to cultivate leadership traits - Nurul Maherah

KUANTAN, 17 March 2022 – Leadership needs to be cultivated in individuals in order to produce people who are confident, wise in planning and able to encourage others to do something to achieve the objectives set.

According to Nurul Maherah Md Mansor, 25, many platforms can be used to hone this leadership talent including obtaining it at the university through formal training.

Culture and Arts Activities add excitement to UMP Convocation Expo

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) organised a culture and arts event, ‘Santai Seni Warisan’, that simply add to the fun of the Convocation Expo that was held in conjunction with the university’s 13th Convocation Ceremony scheduled on November 10 and 11 at its Gambang Campus Sports Complex.

The event was jointly organised by Department of Student Affairs and Alumni and UMP Sports and Cultural Centre at Pekan on October 27, 2018.

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) will celebrate the graduation of 2,773 of its students in its 13th convocation ceremony to be held over two days on November 10 and 11 at UMP Gambang Campus Sports Complex.

His Royal Highness the Regent of Pahang and UMP Chancellor Tengku Abdullah Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah will grace the ceremony and present the scrolls and excellent achievement awards in the first session.
