According to Prof. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie, UMPSA's participation in the procession is meaningful as it brings the university closer to the local community.

"This year's National Day theme, 'Malaysia Madani: Tekad Perpaduan Penuhi Harapan' (Civilized Malaysia: Unity in Fulfilling Aspirations), brings unity, freedom, peace, and prosperity to UMPSA members to create more success and achieve a brighter future for today's and future generations.

"The procession also involved three university vehicles: the Hyundai Kona Electric Vehicle, an electric van, and the UMPSA OKU Van," he said.
