Nur Syuhada, recipient of Anugerah Prihatin Komuniti Puspanita, active in association

Kuantan, 18 March 2022 – Being active in co-curricular activities and associations did not prevent Nur Syuhadah Abu, 25, from obtaining a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.75 and thus obtaining a First Class Degree during her study at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).

Nur Syuhada, a student at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE) obtained the Dean’s List every semester.

Khay Wey receives Setegap Ventures Petroleum Industry Excellence Prize

KUANTAN, 17 March 2022 – A Diploma in Chemical Engineering (Process Plant) graduand, Ng Khay Wey, 23, did not expect to be selected as the Excellence Prize Setegap Ventures recipient Petroleum Sdn. Bhd. in the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) 15th Convocation Ceremony.

She received the prize presented by the Pro-Chancellor, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Abi Musa Asa’ari Mohamed Nor during the first session of the ceremony held at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Kuantan.

Soo Mann Sian receives the Vice-Chancellor Award, gift for parents

KUANTAN, 17 March 2022 - It must be the dream of every graduand to attend the Convocation Ceremony after years of studying and receive an award at the 15th UMP Convocation Ceremony.

However, with the constraints of her mother’s ailment, Soo Mann Sian, 26, was willing to forgo attending the convocation ceremony to take care of her mother, who has cancer.

She was the recipient of the Vice-Chancellor Award and said that her mother’s health was more important than everything else.
