UMP, Kuantan Port signed MoA to enhance corporate governance

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Kuantan Port Consortium Berhad (KPC) that would involve a study on integrity, governance, risk and compliance be carried out.
The MoU would also involve training aimed at enhancing corporate governance and efficiency as well as help improve accountability among employees towards the organisation and minimise operational cost and reputational risk.

Kuantan, 21 Jun- Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) jalin kerjasama dengan Kuantan Port (KP) bagi pelaksanaan kajian berkaitan dengan Integriti, Tadbir Urus, Risiko dan Pematuhan serta penawaran khidmat latihan dalam meningkatkan pengurusan tadbir urus korporat dengan lebih cekap. Ianya akan membantu meningkatkan tanggungjawab pekerja kepada organisasi sekaligus dapat mengurangkan perbelanjaan operasi dan kerosakan reputasi.

UMP partners with KOCEL to leverage global online learning platform

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recently cemented a five-year partnership with China’s Kocel Group Ltd (KOCEL) with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the latter’s National Intelligent Foundry Industry Innovation Centre (NIFI) in Ningxia, China, on April 24, 2019. 

UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Sri Dr. Daing Nasir Ibrahim, who headed the delegation to Yinchuan City, signed the MoU on behalf of the university, whilst KOCEL was represented by its President, Peng Fan. 

Closer ties between Malaysia-Bosnia following MoU signed by UMP and MBTCA

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia Bosnia Trade Cooperation Association (MBTCA) that would pave the way for collaborations in the fields of engineering and technology with universities in Bosnia.

The MoU was signed on April 5, 2019, involving programmes such as Bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering, mechatronic, civil engineering, manufacturing, computer, electrical, chemical and science as well as possible joint research works.
