Protect data and be alert to online cyber threats

PEKAN, 18 May 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), through the Centre for Information and Communication Technology (PTMK), advises university residents to always ensure that all internet-related applications are updated and upgraded and always be careful with emails and links from suspicious sources.

It can result in leakage of confidential and sensitive information, web defacement, malware infection and service disruption.

PEKAN, 18 Mei 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menerusi Pusat Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi (PTMK) menasihatkan warga universiti agar sentiasa memastikan semua aplikasi yang berkaitan dengan internet dikemas kini dan dinaik taraf dan sentiasa berhati-hati dengan e-mel dan pautan dari sumber yang mencurigakan.

Ia boleh mengakibatkan kebocoran maklumat sulit dan sensitif, pencacatan laman web, jangkitan perisian hasad (malware) dan gangguan perkhidmatan.

2,517 UMP students return to hometowns to celebrate Aidilfitri

KUANTAN, 7 May 2021 - A total of 2,517 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students will return to their hometowns in stages to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

A total of 18 buses are provided by UMP to facilitate the movement according to the schedule.

On the first day alone, more than 900 students left for their hometowns using their own vehicles, UMP vehicles, by air and picked up by parents.

Following SOP, UMP students leave to celebrate Aidilfitri

PEKAN, 4 May 2021 - To date, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has received applications from about 1,800 students from PKPP, PKPB and PKP areas to return to their hometowns to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

However, students from Sarawak and in RMCO localities are not allowed to return home.

Free Ramadan iftar for UMP students

PEKAN, 14 April 2021 - A total of 1,200 free food packs are distributed daily to students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) during Ramadan.

The preparation of this free iftar results from the contributions and donations from the public and external organisations to UMP students for Ramadan this year.

There are two distribution locations at Level 1 Student Activities Centre, UMP Pekan and UMP Mosque Gambang Campus, with the help of staff and UMP students volunteers daily.
