Transcending Future Language Learning via Virtual Reality

JAPAN, 6 October 2023 - Virtual Reality (VR) has evolved rapidly from two-dimensional (2D) text-based online virtual environments to a more sophisticated three-dimensional (3D) virtual spaces and avatars. 

The recent studies have even classified VR into low-immersion VR and high-immersion VR. 

Learning a language is more effective when it occurs in a context as it creates authentic environments which are proven to be meaningful for the learners.

Attended by 24 participants hailing from the esteemed Markas 4 Briged Mekanize, Kem Batu 10, this transformative event unfolded within the welcoming compound of the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Library, Gambang Campus. 

UMP donates 100 Mandarin books to school students

MARANG, May 30, 2023 - The Confucius Institute (CI) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has donated 100 Mandarin books, videos, and dictionaries to Yayasan Terengganu Imtiaz Secondary School Marang, in an effort to assist the students in mastering the Mandarin language.

The donated books cover Mandarin language, past-year Chinese language skill examination questions, Chinese culture, literature, and tourism.

BACHOK, 14 Jun 2023 - Delegasi Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) berkunjung menziarahi pelajar cemerlang iaitu Muhammad Syahril Saidi yang merupakan pelajar Sekolah Menengah Ugama (A) Darul Iman, Beris Lalang, Bachok, Kelantan.
 
Kisah beliau tular setelah pengorbanannya menjaga ibunya yang sakit tetapi tidak menghalang pelajar ini mencapai keputusan SPM yang cemerlang iaitu memperolehi 11A dalam SPM yang diumumkan pada 8 Jun 2023. 
 

‘Jom Masuk U’ Opportunities for students to choose IHLs for career prospects
