UMP introduces 4 student assistance incentives

Pekan, 6 November 2020 - Universiti perlu membuat persediaan secara komprehensif di era revolusi digital untuk terus kekal berdaya saing dan merancakkan kemajuan serta mencorakkan kegemilangan dalam landskap pendidikan negara. 

Penggunaan sistem dan kaedah penyampaian yang berkesan juga perlu diperluaskan di kedua-dua kampus dalam usaha menyokong inisiatif pendigitalan kampus universiti.

Pekan, 27 Oktober 2020 - Keperluan terhadap peranti dan kebolehcapaian internet penting dalam pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dan Pengajaran (PdP) secara dalam talian apatah lagi melihat situasi pandemik COVID-19 yang masih belum ada tanda akan pulih sepenuhnya ini dalam masa terdekat.

24-hour room offers comfort for continuous learning

The 24-hour room at the UMP Library is the most popular area among the UMP students. 

The Library has received many suggestions to upgrade this room for users, especially during the study week and final exam. 

For that, the Library has successfully requested that the space be immediately upgraded in line with current developments either at the Pekan or Gambang campuses. 

Ir. Dr. Chin Siew Choo produces sustainable construction material OHE-Crete

A researcher from the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Ir. Dr. Chin Siew Choo produced sustainable construction material, namely OHE-Crete. 

According to the Negeri Sembilan-born, OHE- means green in the Hawaiian language. 

“Therefore, OHE-Crete refers to green concrete that uses bamboo fibres to produce sustainable construction material.

Donation for students from the compound collections

Pekan, 21 October 2020 - The Security Division, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), handed over a contribution of RM1,956 as part of the payment of compounds and fines due to violating traffic rules and road discipline on campus for students.

This donation is utilized by students through donations to UMP Food Pantry to help the welfare of students who need it at this university.
