Pelitup muka kini sudah menjadi sebahagian daripada ‘fesyen’ norma baharu setelah pengumuman oleh Menteri Kanan Keselamatan, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob yang mewajibkan penggunaan pelitup muka di tempat awam bermula 1 Ogos 2020 berikutan penambahan kluster COVID-19 yang baharu.
Pekan, 17 September 2020 - Lebih 100 mahasiswa Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menyertai Program Kesedaran Perlindungan Lapisan Ozon Peringkat Negeri Pahang Sempena Sambutan Hari Ozon Sedunia 2020 yang disambut pada 16 September setiap tahun.
Program itu mendapat kerjasama pihak Jabatan Alam Sekitar Negeri Pahang dan Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd.

Dr. Norashikin Mohd Zain yang mempunyai pengalaman dalam penyelidikan lebih sepuluh tahun di universiti berjaya menghasilkan tiga produk berkaitan penjagaan diri dan kebersihan dari bahan-bahan yang selamat iaitu pencuci tangan antimikrob, pembersih badan antimikrob dan semburan pembersih ruang antimikrob.
Ramai pencari kerja tertanya-tanya kenapa majikan tidak memanggil mereka ke peringkat temu duga sedangkan mereka benar-benar layak dan telah menyesuaikan resume dengan pekerjaan yang dimohon. Ini mungkin disebabkan oleh permohonan mereka telah disingkirkan lebih awal sebelum sampai ke tangan majikan atau ejen dari agensi pengambilan pekerja. Penyingkiran ini biasanya dilakukan oleh sistem yang dikenali sebagai Applicant Tracking System (ATS) atau Sistem Pengesanan Pemohon.

Kuantan, 28 August 2020 - The staff of the Centre for Sports and Culture, Syahir Ahmad Termizi, 26 was named the recipient of the Sports Award for the Best Male Athlete category at Majlis Apresiasi in conjunction with the Quality & Innovation Day 2020 at the Sports Complex, UMP Gambang Campus recently.
Meanwhile, the Best Female Athlete was won by Kamariah Peah from the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology (FTKA).
They took home a cash prize of RM1,000.00, a trophy and a certificate.
