PEKAN, 16 March 2023 - The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman delivered a Public Lecture titled ‘UMP Madani’ which focused on the Malaysia Madani Idea by implementing a comprehensive work movement to realise the university’s desire to achieve the aspirations of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in line with the national agenda.

According to Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Abdul Aziz, in realising UMP Madani, the university management believed that a good adaptation between the Malaysia Madani framework and the core values that already exist at UMP could produce university residents with great civilisation.

“If we look at the Madani framework, it has a direct relationship with the five UMP core values based on a strong bond with the Creator, steadfast in upholding shared principles, creative in making wise decisions, resolute in facing challenges, and proactive in taking actions,” he said.
