Ts. Dr. Wan Isni Sofiah develops mobile application to streamline fire extinguisher maintenance

PEKAN, 11 December 2023 – While fire extinguishers are well-maintained, the absence of digitized records poses challenges for fire safety contractors in efficiently storing and accessing records. This challenge inspired Ts. Dr. Wan Isni Sofiah Wan Din, a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Computing (FK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), to create a Fire Extinguisher Management System (FEMS) mobile application.

UMPSA collaborates with industry partners in China

TIANJIN, CHINA, 5 December 2023 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tianjin Wanfeng Chemical Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd.

Present to sign the MoU was the Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, while the Wanfeng side was represented by the Chief Executive Officer of Wanfeng, Zhu Rong.

UMPSA appointed as the Secretariat of MPEN Pahang

KUANTAN, 6 December 2023 - The Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has been appointed as the Secretariat of the Pahang State Economic Advisory Council (MPEN).

MPEN Pahang is an initiative from the Pahang State Government administration to advance the economy of the people of this state, covering all aspects of development.

Appreciation Ceremony for the former Board of Directors of UMPSA

KUANTAN, 25 November 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is organizing a Tribute Ceremony to honour the former UMPSA Board of Directors at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kuantan.

The ceremony celebrates the former Chairman of the University's Board of Directors, Tan Sri Dato' Sri Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman and the members of the Board of Directors consist of Dato' Mohd Sharil Abdullah, Dato' Hajah Habibah Mohd Yusof, and Mohd Sakeri Abdul Kadir.

UMPSA and UMW collaboration planted 2,000 Mangrove trees in Cherating

CHERATING, 25 November 2023 – The collaboration between Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and UMW recently planted 2,000 mangrove trees in Cherating with the target of planting 300,000 mangrove trees by 2023.

It is as part of UMW's Green Shoots Initiative (UGS).

The programme involved over 200 Kilau UMPSA volunteers consisting of students and staff from UMPSA and UMW from Kuantan.

120 anak staf UMPSA sertai Program Meneroka Matematik

The Global Leadership Summit programme revealed the creativity of MRSM students

PEKAN, 3 December 2023 – A total of 504 students of MARA Junior College of Science (MRSM) were exposed to creativity in the Global Leadership Summit & MRSM Homeroom Colloquium All-Malaysia (Eastern Zone) 2023 programme recently.

The Closing Ceremony of the programme was officiated by the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin at MRSM Tun Abdul Razak Pekan as host.

UMPSA treats the people of Dolokgede Village, Bojonegoro, Indonesia through the UMPSA Foundation's ASEAN Exploration Adventure programme

DOLOKGEDE, 16 November 2023 – 14 volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) together with 15 volunteers from Universitas Bojonegoro (UNIGORO), IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro and Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri (UNUGIRI) successfully completed the ASEAN Exploration Adventure programme in Bojonegoro, Indonesia.

The five-day programme involved an inland village located about 40 km from Bojonegoro city center known as Dolokgede Village.
