Ts. ChM Dr. Ahmad Zamani invents DECO2X, a catalyst to convert carbon dioxide into methane

GAMBANG, 19 December 2023 - Energy-to-product technology (Power to X) is the best technology that uses renewable energy sources such as solar or wind energy to convert carbon dioxide combined with hydrogen into other products such as methane, methanol and others.

This technology can solve the problem of carbon dioxide emission into the environment in line with the net zero carbon policy by 2050.

UMPSA MPP Session 2023/2024 election went smoothly

GAMBANG, 21 December 2023 - An atmosphere full of democracy swept the campuses of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) when students cast their votes in the Students’ Representative Council (PMPP) Selection for 2023/2024 Session.

The voting session which took place at the UMPSA Sports Complex, Gambang Campus and UMPSA Multipurpose Hall, Pekan started from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and achieved great success with active student participation.

UMPSA lancar Rimba Komuniti sebagai inisiatif penghijauan kampus lestari

PEKAN, 22 Disember 2023 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) telah berjaya melancarkan pembukaan tapak baharu yang dikenali sebagai Rimba Komuniti terletak di kampus Pekan.

Tapak baharu Rimba Komuniti yang berkeluasan 6.7 ekar ini merupakan salah satu lokasi penghijauan kampus UMPSA selain Rimba Lestari yang merupakan projek kerjasama antara UMPSA dan Institut Penyelidikan Perhutanan Malaysia (FRIM).

Pemilihan MPP UMPSA Sesi 2023/2024 berjalan lancar

GAMBANG, 21 Disember 2023 - Suasana penuh semangat demokrasi melanda kampus Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) ketika para mahasiswa aktif turut serta dalam proses Pemilihan Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (PMPP) Sesi 2023/2024. 

Sesi pengundian yang berlangsung di Kompleks Sukan UMPSA Kampus Gambang dan Dewan Serbaguna UMPSA, Pekan itu bermula pada pukul 9 pagi hingga 5 petang telah mencapai kejayaan besar dengan penyertaan pelajar yang aktif.

UMPSA Student Parliament discusses 4 core proposals

PEKAN, 3 December 2023 - The Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Student Parliament (UMPSA) successfully held its third session over two days at the UMPSA Senate Hall in Pekan. 

The session was attended by a total of 102 House Members for the UMPSA Student Parliament, including the President/Chairman of clubs registered at the Department of Student and Alumni Affairs (JHEPA) and members of the Student Representative Council (MPP).

UMPSA Foundation opens learning opportunities beyond the classroom for Pintarians students

PEKAN, 27 November 2023 - A total of 120 students from ten schools in the Pekan district, accompanied by ten teachers and facilitated by 30 mentors, participated in a study tour programme to Kuala Lumpur through the 8th Projek Pintar meeting. 

The programme, organized by the UMPSA Foundation, received cooperation from the Bank Rakyat Foundation, Pahang Islamic Religious Council and Malay Customs (MUIP), and UMP Advanced.

FK organizes Professor's Field Trip for Interactive Storytelling Animation Development (Scratch Application)

PEKAN, 9 December 2023 - A total of 120 primary school students from four schools around Pekan participated in the Professor's Field Trip Programme (PTP): Development of Interactive Storytelling Animation (Scratch Application) organized by the Faculty of Computing (FK) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

The participating schools include Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Pulau Serai, SK Tanjung Batu, SK Seri Terentang, and SK Pasir Panjang.

Ts. Dr. Nurul Nadrah Aqilah cipta perisian meramal paras air sungai bagi mengenal pasti kawasan banjir

PEKAN, 26 Disember 2023 – Kesukaran menganalisis data paras air yang merupakan data penting bagi mengenal pasti kawasan banjir mencetuskan idea kepada seorang penyelidik dan pensyarah Fakulti Teknologi Kejuruteraan Awam (FTKA), Ts. Dr. Nurul Nadrah Aqilah Tukimat, 38 untuk menghasilkan WALES Simulator, perisian yang dapat meramal paras air sungai berdasarkan pemboleh ubah meteorologi seperti hujan dan sejatan.
