Tripartite PLKI-ECRL Agreement to Benefit Rail Industry and NRCOE

Putrajaya, 2 November- The inking of a tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to formalize the implementation of the ECRL Industrial Skills Training Programme (PLKI-ECRL), will nurture more skilled workers to be in the rail industry and complement the establishment of the National Rail Centre of Excellence (NRCOE).

oBike Offers Bicycle Sharing Services For UMPians

Kuala Lumpur, 26 October – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and oBike, a renowned bicycle sharing company championing the in-campus bicycle initiative, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) at the oBike Malaysia Sdn Bhd headquarters at Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur recently. Through this agreement, about 1,200 bicycles will be available for usage at both UMP Gambang and Pekan campus.

Kuantan, 21 October – Winning the Asia-Pacific 3 Minute Thesis Competition is not an end for Ashwin Charles Benedict. Currently pursuing his doctorate studies at Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering (FKKSA), he is now preparing himself to be competing in Falling Wall Labs 2017 in Berlin, Germany on 8 and 9 November 2017 with his research entitled Catalyzing Change: Light at the end of the Tunnel.

GUA MUSANG, 17 March 2024 - The scorching hot weather and fasting in Ramadan did not discourage 31 Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) InSmartive Club student volunteers to carry out Semaian Kasih project with Temiar Orang Asli tribe in the Pos Brooke settlement, Lojing.

The three-day programme was sponsored by Kariah Masjid Saidina Umar Al-Khattab (MSUA), Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

UMPSA and Libya strengthen collaborative bonds for academic and research advancements

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 April 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to foster stronger ties with Libyan academic and research institutions through a significant meeting held in Kuala Lumpur recently. 

The meeting was attended by Dr. Saleh Khalifa Algoul, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research from Libya, alongside representatives from the Embassy and UMPSA. Dr. Algoul was warmly welcomed by Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, and other university representatives.

Countdown to the 4th International Conference on Language Learning and Teaching 2024 (ICOLLT)

PEKAN, 23 April 2024 - More than 200 participants will be expected to join the 4th International Conference on Language Learning and Teaching 2024 (ICOLLT) that will be held on 20th and 21st May 2024 at Perdana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. 

The ICOLLT 4.0 will be hosted by the Centre for Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) with co-organisers from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and HCMC University of Technology and Education, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
