GAMBANG, 24 January 2024 - Holistic, entrepreneurial and balanced graduates are one of the elements of the leap in the Malaysia Education Development Plan 2015-2025 (Higher Education).

It has outlined the strategies and initiatives of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to provide a balanced education between knowledge and morals and encourage students to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset.

GAMBANG, 16 February 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has the capacity in terms of resources, talent and expertise to enable the university to realise its vision and mission.

In order to achieve this important vision, UMPSA has set six commitments, 20 initiatives and 37 strategies that will be the compass of the movement to achieve the university’s success in 2024.

Cracking The Code Of Interview Success: A Global Classroom Initiative

In an effort to improve student employability, the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), under the initiative of Global Classroom, Centre for Instructional Resources & E-Learning (CIReL), hosted a ground-breaking webinar called “Crafting Your Narrative: Communicative Strategies for Interview Excellence.” More than 60 undergraduate students eager to learn effective interviewing skills attended this insightful workshop presented by Dr. Craig J. Selby, the renowned Academic Director of The Third Degree.

Ts. Dr. Nurul Nadrah Aqilah created software to predict river water levels to identify flood areas

PEKAN, 1 January 2024 – Difficulty in analysing water level data which is important data for identifying flood areas sparked an idea to a researcher and lecturer of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology (FTKA), Ts. Dr. Nurul Nadrah Aqilah Tukimat, 38 to create WALES Simulator, a software that can predict river water levels based on meteorological variables such as rain and evaporation.

Dr. Nadzirah creates MD-SOLARES: Solar Assisted Membrane Distillation System

GAMBANG, 1 January 2024 – MD-SOLARES or known as Membrane Distillation Equipped with Solar Energy System is a solar-assisted membrane distillation system created to solve the problem of difficulty in obtaining clean water supply in island and inland areas.

This product can also be used for wastewater treatment in industries such as rubber mills, palm oil mills, textile mills, food mills, and others.

UMPSA students receive donations from YPM, EKUINAS and SSM

PEKAN, 7 February 2024 - A total of ten students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) received education funding (SDEP) from Yayasan Pelajaran MARA (YPM) sponsored by Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (EKUINAS) amounting to RM25,000.

Meanwhile, the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) donated Wakalah Zakat Korporat to 16 selected UMPSA student entrepreneurs with a total of RM50,000.

The donation ceremony was graced by the UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin.
